Welcome to the School of Computing Science. We hope you enjoy your time here as a student. These pages are for people starting, or continuing, an Undergraduate or taught Postgraduate degree programme. Degree Programme HandbooksThe main source of information about your degree (undergraduate and postgraduate) is the Degree Programme Handbook.
Part Two contains information that is specific to your particular degree, and each degree has its own version. You should consult Part Two to find such details as what modules you must take and when. You can also find an outline of the aims and objectives and the skills you can expect to gain from following your degree programme. Follow these links to find Handbooks for all our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Modules, Timetables, Coursework, ExamsBoth undergraduates and postgraduates can find lists of all the modules and timetables available. NESS is our in-house, on-line system for the submission of coursework. Current information about exams (results and resits) is also available. Facilities and ActivitiesYou're studying computing, where are the computers? Information about the facilities we offer is available. While you are here, we hope you will take part in the various activities going on in the School. For example, you may be interested in studying abroad for part of your degree, or being a representative to the Staff-Student Committee (good for your cv). MiscellaneousWe have provided some links you might find useful and details of important dates. |
