Brief Biography

Denis obtained his PhD in Psychology in December 1999 from the University of Provence, Aix-en-Provence, France. His research field was in cognitive ergonomics and the topic was on human error in troubleshooting.
Denis then joined the School of Computing Science in September 2000 as a Research Associate on the DIRC project where he investigated human-machine interaction in the control of dynamic, computer-based critical systems. He held this position until December 2005.
Since April 2006, Denis has been a Research Associate on the eData Mining project. He interacts with a developer to build web-based pricing services for collectors. Denis is involved in the user requirements analysis, the interface design and general public relations about the project.
