Brief Biography

Doug Palmer is a research associate in the School of Computing Science at the University of Newcastle, where he is a member of the Distributed Systems Research Group. He has been employed as a researcher with the university since graduating in Software Engineering three years ago. His research interests include distributed computing, reliability, fault tolerant systems and workflow technologies. He has experience in building systems with CORBA, Enterprise Java Beans and Web service technologies.
