Brief Biography

Michael Harrison researches the analysis of dependable interactive
systems, techniques for their assessment and to aid their design at
different levels of rigour. He is also interested in the nature and
structure of dependability arguments, particularly but not exlusively,
in relation to interactive systems.

His research is now focussed on ambient mobile intelligence, extending
analysis techniques to systems that will dominate our future. In this
regard he works within an interdisciplinary framework.
