Brief Biography

Kenneth Wright joined the University Computing Laboratory in 1962 as a reserch assistant, becoming a lecturer in 1964.

He has remained in this position until now except for a year as a visiting associoate professor at the department on compting Sciece at the University of Toronto in 1971-72.
Before coming to Newcastle he obtained a BA in Mathematics and a D.Phil in Numerical Analysis at Oxford University.

Main interests include the numerical solution of differential equations and numerical algorithms generally including parallel numerical algorithms.
