The School has 37 teaching staff, supported by 15 administrative and clerical staff, and 7 technical staff. We currently employ 39 Research Staff.

There is a listing of all the staff currently working in the School. Contact details can be found by following the links to their homepage. There are also listings of staff sorted by the type of work they do. Administrators and clerical staff are working in support of either our research, or teaching activities and the computing systems support team provide expertise in software and hardware matters. Teaching staff includes all staff involved in teaching as well as research and research staff are those purely involved with research.

We also have 26 visiting staff. Visitor status (Visiting Professor, Visiting Fellow, Visiting Lecturer or Guest Member of Staff) is accorded by the University to individuals who contribute to the teaching, research or other activities of the School either over a short period or by occasional involvement over a longer period of time.

There are also contact details for all of our research students, who are listed with their research group where appropriate.

We currently have around 300 students following undergraduate degrees, and 140 students following our taught postgraduate degree programmes. The webpages listing our students are incomplete, however, as they only include students who have requested that their details be made public.

If you cannot find the person you are looking for, it is possible they have left us. We do not provide details for staff who have left, but you can find out if the person you are looking for was ever here by using the search facility.
